Rex Orange County heads to Amsterdam in video for new track ‘Keep It Up,’ announces new album ‘Who Cares?’

Rex Orange County is back with a video for his new single, “Keep It Up.” The track comes in celebration of the announcement of his new album, Who Cares?, out March 11th.

Who Cares? marks the follow-up to 2019’s Pony. In addition to “Keep It Up,” the album features a highly anticipated appearance from Tyler, The Creator. The pair last collaborated on Tyler, The Creator’s 2017 album, Flower Boy.

Today’s release, “Keep It Up,” is a sweet, upbeat tune with bubbly instrumentals and a driving drum line. Lyrically, Rex Orange County delivers lines like, “You no longer owe the strangers/ It’s enough, it’s enough.” The accompanying video was shot in Amsterdam and features an appearance from Benny Sings.

The “Keep It Up” video is a fun-loving clip that uses gritty, grainy effects to capture a sense of nostalgia. Throughout the video, Rex Orange County dances and sings throughout Amsterdam.

He recorded Who Cares? with Benny Sings over ten days in the fall of 2020.
