Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan and more to Play ‘Oldchella’ Festival

Possibly the greatest news for boomer-rock fans in years, six legendary performers from the 60’s have been confirmed to take part in a historical fall festival.

As reported earlier, so far, The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, The Who, Roger Waters, and Neil Young have all signed on to play at the Coachella grounds in Indio, California. While there’s no name for the Coachella organizer-run festival, people have given it a clever nickname: ‘Oldchella’.

With no official word yet from GoldenVoice (Coachella’s organizers), five of the six artists have posted teasers to their Facebook – all pointing to something happening in October. LA Times reports that the festival will take play at the Empire Polo Field in Indio, on the weekend of Oct. 7-9.

Neil Young’s manager told the Times:

It’s so special in so many ways. You won’t get a chance to see a bill like this, perhaps ever again. It’s a show I look forward to more than any show in a long time.

Take a look at the teasers below.

Maybe Bob Dylan will even perform “Like A Rolling Stone” with the actual Rolling Stones. Stay tuned for more details.
