In an effort to raise funds for the fight against Ebola, Band Aid’s rotating all-star list of artists got together to record a new version of the Bob Geldof and Midge Ure-written “Do They Know It’s Christmas?”
The 30th anniversary edition features contributions from: Sam Smith, Chris Martin, Bono, Ellie Goulding, Bastille, Jessie Ware, Midge Ure, Clean Bandit, One Direction, Sinead O’Connor, Underworld, Roger Taylor, Paul Epworth, Ed Sheeran, Robert Plant, Olly Murs, Jimmy Napes, Elbow, Emeli Sande, Angélique Kidjo, Rita Ora, Paloma Faith, Fuse ODG, and Seal.

The single is a reboot of the 1984 collaborative effort that raised money for African famine relief and featured Paul McCartney, Phil Collins, Sting, Boy George, and many more.
