Oakville’s Seaway have shared a summery, southwestern Ontario music video to match their equally summery single “Lula on the Beach.” It’s a fun take on the song, with a beach full of dogs and shots of Kincardine’s gorgeous Lake Huron shores.
“I would say that collectively, Lula is probably our favourite song off the record,” said Seaway’s Andrew Eichinger. “It’s definitely the most different sounding song we’ve ever done and the furthest we’ve stepped out of the space we’ve been operating in over the last couple of years. At the same time, it somehow encapsulates the entire Seaway vibe and what we’re all about as a band.”
The band will also be donating $1 per video share (up to $1000) to the ASPCA, which is the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. The money will go towards relief efforts in Texas and Florida, following the events of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma.
Seaway’s upcoming album Vacation will be out on September 15 via Dine Alone Records. Watch the music video for “Lula on the Beach” below.
