Outside of Sigur Rós, Jónsi runs his own solo electronic music project under Frakkur, and now he will be releasing a new triple album called Frakkur 2000-2004.
The upcoming record is set for release on November 23rd, and will ring in at 24 tracks in length. Last year, Jónsi shared 12 tracks from the collection for a limited run of 100 copies of a vinyl release in individually hand painted sleeves. Now, the music will be made widely available with a digital release next Friday.

The album announcement comes after Sigur Rós parted ways with drummer Orri Páll Dýrason after he was accused of sexual assault.
