Sleater-Kinney have shared a new live version of “Complex Female Characters” for Courtney Barnett’s charity compilation, Here and There: B-Sides, Live Tracks + Demos.
The compilation’s recordings are made up of live cuts and demos from Courtney Barnett’s traveling Here and There Festival. Proceeds from the compilation are set to benefit the National Network of Abortion Funds and Advocates for Youth. In addition to Sleater-Kinney’s “Complex Female Characters,” the record features contributions from Julia Jacklin, Bedouine, The Beths, Faye Webster, Caroline Rose, Hana Vu, and Barnett.
Alongside “Complex Female Characters,” Courtney Barnett previously previewed the compilation with a demo of “If I Don’t Hear From You Tonight.”
