Sloan, The Dirty Nil Among Artists Announced for 2018 Canadian Music Week

The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Birds of Bellwoods also announced for May festival

Canadian Music Week has unveiled a sneak peek at its lineup for their 36th annual festival. Artists announced for this year’s extravaganza include Sloan, The Dirty Nil, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Birds of Bellwoods, Vancouver punk legends Slow, Chicago rapper CupcakKe, Keys ‘n’ Krates, This Will Destroy You, and many more.

This year’s festival will take place between May 7-13 at over thirty official CMW venues across downtown Toronto. Sloan is slated to perform a free show at Yonge-Dundas Square on Saturday May 12th, in support of their forthcoming 12th studio album.

“We are really excited to once again program an eclectic mix of artists as part of this year’s CMW festival, festival manager Dave Henry said in a release. “As Toronto’s longest running multi-venue discovery festival, we look forward to utilizing Yonge-Dundas Square, a central outdoor hub, for one of Canada’s most beloved acts.”
