Smashing Pumpkins have announced their first archival release, Live In Japan, 1992.

Frontman Billy Corgan has teased archival releases of previously unheard music for years, and this weekend, they announced their first of the releases.

As part of the 30th anniversary celebration for Gish, which featured a two-hour livestream Q&A and listening party with Corgan and Jimmy Chamberlin, they announced Live In Japan, 1992.

According to Instagram, the forthcoming release’s “audio is from a board tape and is not available anywhere else.” The show took place in February 1992 at Kawasaki’s Club Citta, and it saw the band performing tracks like “Slunk” “Bury Me,” “Blue,” and more.
