TD Toronto Jazz Fest has announced its 35th anniversary lineup.
The festival, which takes place from June 24th to July 3rd, is set to feature headliners like Smokey Robinson, The New Power Generation feat. The Music Of Prince, Amber Mark, Savannah Ré TOBi, Kamaal Williams, DijahSB, Gregory Porter, Cory Henry Trio, and Michael Kaeshammer.
With a whopping 10 days of free outdoor concerts and additional stages, this year marks the biggest yet for the festival. It” boast performances from beloved acts like Hua Li, Lydia Persaud, Shawnee Kish, Wild Black, and more.

“The TD Toronto Jazz Fest has always aimed to provide the highest quality of jazz and jazz related music representing the many cultures and communities across the city,” a press release explains. “This year the festival both acknowledges its rich history while eagerly looking towards the future and continued growth.”
Since its start, the TD Toronto Jazz Fest has hosted over 35,000 artists, 85% of which were Canadian. This year, the festival is dedicated to getting local artists and crews back to work. Thus, 90% of the free shows feature Canadian artists.
There will be even more live performance spaces this year, with additional stages at Victoria University on the University of Toronto campus.
