Snail Mail has covered Smashing Pumpkins’ 1995 hit, “Tonight, Tonight” live.
At her first show in almost two-and-a-half years, Lindsay Jordan and her backing band kicked off her North American Tour at Boise, Idaho’s Treefort Music Fest. At the festival, Snail Mail debuted a whole slew of tracks from Valentine in addition to some tracks from their more downtempo 2018 debut, Lush.
During the set, Jordan covered Smashing Pumpkins’ hit tune, “Tonight, Tonight.” Snail Mail’s rendition of the Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness track stays quite true to the original, with uplifting melodies and anthemic vocal lines.

It’s unclear whether “Tonight, Tonight” will be a staple on this Snail Mail tour, but either way, check out their upcoming tour dates below.
