Snotty Nose Rez Kids announce new album ‘Life After,’ collaborate with Polo Brian for new single ‘Wild Boy’

Vancouver hip-hop duo Snotty Nose Rez Kids have announced their new album, Life After, out on October 22nd. Today, they’ve previewed the collection with a video for their new Polo Brian collaboration, “Wild Boy.”

The new track follows the release of previous singles “Uncle Rico” and “Something Else.” “Wild Boy” was produced by longtime collaborator Boogey The Beat, and it is inspired by supernatural stories from the duo’s culture. In particular, Snotty Nose Rez Kids were inspired by Bukwus, a Kwakwaka’wakw Nation term that translated to “Wild Man of the Woods.”

“Bukwus was just fitting for this record,” Young D explains. “The word just kept coming to me, so I took it as a sign. The song shows that even though we know exactly who we are, others who don’t fully understand us will still look at us different…like we’re still some wild boys. Men of the woods. Bukwus.”

Snotty Nose Rez Kids experienced a lot of highs and lows from 2019 until now. The duo truly thrive off of their infectious live performances, and this album is set to represent that energy.
