‘Sonic the Hedgehog’ movie delayed until 2020 to fix Sonic’s human-like teeth

Sonic has a very important dentist appointment.

The release of the Sonic the Hedgehog film has just been delayed from November 8th, 2019 to February 14th, 2020.

This delay is due to the uproar fans had regarding the CGI version of Sonic, with the main complaint being rooted in Sonic’s creepily human-like teeth. Many memes were born after the initial trailer dropped.

The complaints got so bad that the director, Jeff Fowler, had promised to fix the character before the movie’s new release.

This morning, Fowler tweeted the new release date.

If you are brave enough to watch the first trailer that includes the original human teeth Sonic, check it out below!
