The release of the Sonic the Hedgehog film has just been delayed from November 8th, 2019 to February 14th, 2020.
This delay is due to the uproar fans had regarding the CGI version of Sonic, with the main complaint being rooted in Sonic’s creepily human-like teeth. Many memes were born after the initial trailer dropped.

The complaints got so bad that the director, Jeff Fowler, had promised to fix the character before the movie’s new release.
Thank you for the support. And the criticism. The message is loud and clear… you aren't happy with the design & you want changes. It's going to happen. Everyone at Paramount & Sega are fully committed to making this character the BEST he can be… #sonicmovie #gottafixfast ???
