Tim Miller dodged a bullet after reworking the Sonic the Hedgehog graphic for the upcoming film.
When the first images for the movie came out, fans flipped out at the horrific appearance of Sonic. It got so bad that director Jeff Fowler promised to redesign the character, and producer Tim Miller claims it was worth the wait.
Miller explained to Variety that Sonic could not flop as it is to become a franchise, so it had to be great. The director and producer apologized to the fans and went back to the drawing board. When asked about the new graphics, Miller claims fans will be pleased, and a new poster with the upgraded design can be seen below.
