Soufi’s, which closed last week after receiving death threats because the owner’s son attended an Antifa rally, is planning to reopen with the help of Paramount Fine Foods founder and CEO Mohamad Fakih.

Fakih publicly offered to help the Al-Soufi family reopen their restaurant early yesterday, and now the family has announced that they’ll be opening their doors once again. “We’re going to work together to reopen the doors of this business,” Fakih explained, according to CBC. “This family should not lose their profitable, thriving business because of intimidation and hate.”
The Al-Soufi family are set to announce further details about their plans to reopen soon.
