Earlier this year Spotify announced that it would be producing several narrative audio podcasts with Warner Bros. based on DC Comics characters such as Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and more. The first podcast in the series will be Batman Unburied, which will be helmed by veteran writer David S. Goyer.

The Batman-focused project will centre around the “darker side of Bruce Wayne’s psyche,” and is expected to debut in 2021.

Goyer penned the screenplays for Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight Trilogy, and brings a wealth of experience working on DC projects.

“We’ll be using the unique advantages of audio to dig into the more nightmarish members of the Dark Knight’s Rogues Gallery,” Goyer said in a statement on Tuesday.

So here’s something to look forward to for next year.
