Steam Whistle UNSIGNED is celebrating its 30th show this Friday, bringing local independent artists to the stage in support of The Artists Health Alliance.
At the 30th anniversary show, lose yourself in the tribal rhythms of Tasha The Amazon, float on the soulful funk and R&B of Brendan Philip, and get immersed in the powerful presence of Joseph of Mercury.
If you’re still on the fence, just take a look at some previous acts to take the UNSIGNED stage: The Rural Alberta Advantage, Austra, The Darcys, Young Empires, Rich Aucoin, The Balconies, Dinosaur Bones, and many more. This is your chance to catch some of Toronto’s indie acts before they take off.

If you’re STILL not convinced, just know that your entire ticket price (of only $5!) goes right back into the local independent music scene here in Toronto. Matt Weed, creator of UNSIGNED and Events Manager at Steam Whistle Brewing explains:
With every show Steam Whistle donates 100% of the ticket proceeds to music based charities and not-for-profits to directly benefit the community where the show is taking place. One of our partners, the Artists Health Alliance in Toronto, is a great example of this – we have raised over $60,000 for them in the last 7 years.
