Stream: Greys drop gritty, distorted new album ‘Age Hasn’t Spoiled You’

The band's most adventurous endeavour yet

Greys have just dropped their gritty, distorted new record Age Hasn’t Spoiled You, which sees the Toronto four-piece on their most adventurous endeavour yet.

The whole album will send you on a fuzzed-out, bewildering trip through killer, ambient guitar riffs, upheaving drum lines, and melodic, harmony rich vocals as frontman Shehzaad Jiwani sings bluntly vulnerable lyrics like “I got so sick of myself/ Turn myself off/ Hit me with the colours again/ Till they melt off.” “Arc Light” is definitely a standout track, with the feedback heavy, industrial punk rock instrumentals that send the song hurling into an eerie, disorienting cycle.

“Musically, it’s everywhere we’ve been and everywhere we’re going,” Jiwani explains in a statement. “We tried to re-imagine and re-contextualize the tools we are comfortable using to make something new.”
