The National’s Matt Berninger has shared the deluxe edition of his 2020 solo album, Serpentine Prison.

The new version of the album features four new covers and two new originals. In terms of covers, the deluxe edition of Serpentine Prison sees Berninger adding his own twist to The Velvet Underground’s “European Son,” Bettye Swann’s “Then You Can Tell Me Goodbye,” Morphine’s “In Spite Of Me,” and Eddie Floyd’s “Big Bird.”
In terms of original songs, the deluxe edition features recent single “Let It Be” and “The End,” which was written alongside Ben Lanz.
