Modest Mouse are back with a brand new album The Golden Casket. The album features their three newly released singles, “We Are Between”, “Leave A Light On” and “The Sun Hasn’t Left”.
In a press release, the album was described as “the liminal space between raw punk power and experimental studio science … frontman Isaac Brooks explores themes ranging from the degradation of our psychic landscapes and invisible technology, to fatherhood.”
The new album proves that they have the ability to remain on top of the indie-rock landscape. Their journey has been long but nothing short of great. From their legendary single “Float On” featured on their 2004 album Good News For People Who Love Bad News all the way to now in 2021, giving us more incredible indie anthems such as “We Are Between.” Modest Mouse aren’t showing any signs of slowing down.

The album is their first new full length LP since 2015’s Strangers to Ourselves and their tenth album since forming in 1993. Recently, they performed the single “We Are Between” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and have announced tour dates across the United States.
