Stream: Neil Young’s new live album ‘Tuscaloosa’

Young says he thought the concert was 'edgy'

Neil Young’s new live album Tuscaloosa has been officially released. The album features songs from a rare recording of Young’s 1973 concert at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. It features hits such as “Old Man,” “Out on the Weekend,” and “Heart of Gold.”

Speaking about the album in a recent Rolling Stone interview, Young says he thought the concert was “edgy.” “It’s like those mellow [Harvest] songs with an edge,” Young explains. “It’s really trippy to be down in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and singing those songs from Harvest and the songs that we were doing for Time Fades Away before it came out.”
