The Smashing Pumpkins are back with their eleventh studio album, CYR.
The whopping 20-track double album is their first extra-long release since their critically acclaimed third record, Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. The record, which was produced by Billy Corgan, features fellow founding members James Iha and Jimmy Chamberlin alongside guitarist Jeff Schroeder.
CYR represents the “makings of a dissociative life, which best as we can tell is modern life: as presented through a variety of sources; past, present, and future,” Corgan explains.
