Stream: The Flaming Lips and Deap Vally release collaborative album ‘Deap Lips’

This is the Deap Lips' first collab album

In a highly-anticipated collaboration between the The Flaming Lips and Deap Vally, Deap Lips have released their first self-titled album.

The 10-track album Deap Lips successfully combines the weird psychedelic rock sounds from The Flaming Lips and the gritty grunge style of Deap Vally, creating a medley of different sounds that compliment each other well throughout the album.

To top it off, Deap Lips also included a cover of the Steppenwolf song “The Pusher.” The band’s take on the song is quite different from the original, but the synth gives the track the trippy vibe it needs to elevates the rest of the album’s psychedlic rock sound.
