Oregon-based indie rockers Typhoon are set to drop their fourth full-length album, Offerings, on January 12 via Roll Call Records. It’s an expansive concept record that checks in at nearly 70 minutes.
The band unveiled some details in a release, saying “Offerings is fourteen songs divided into four movements (Floodplains, Flood, Reckoning, and Afterparty) to represent the mental phases the main character goes through while losing his memory: where he first realizes that something is wrong, then struggles through the chaos of his situation, and finally moves into acceptance before succumbing to his dreadful fate.”
Typhoon hit the road in support of Offerings next week, with a Toronto date set for January 23rd at Lee’s Palace. Stream the record via NPR below.
