Wavves has returned with a two-song Christmas EP called Emo Christmas.

The release features “Emo Christmas,” and the B-side “So Glad It’s Christmas.” The first fuzzy surf-pop track definitely lives up to its title, as frontman Nathan Williams sings “Something about Christmas makes me cry / And I don’t know why / I still think about you all the time.” The B-side on the other hand, penned by bandmate Stephen Pope, is much more lo-fi and happier.
