Take a deep breath ladies and gentlemen, the trailer for Suspiria dropped this morning and dear lord is it ever terrifying.
The film is a remake Dario Argento’s classic Italian horror film from the 70s, following an American ballet dancer who transfers to a prestigious dance academy in Germany only to find herself in the midst of a supernatural phenomenon. Believe it or not, the modern remake is directed by Luca Guadagnino who most recently put out Call Me By Your Name. The film stars Dakota Johnson, Chloë Grace Moretz, Mia Goth and Tilda Swinton.
Suspiria also involves Swinton’s doppleganger, Thom Yorke of Radiohead, who is scoring the film. You can see the brutal trailer along with Yorke’s spine-chilling score below:
