Taika Waititi set to write and direct forthcoming ‘Thor 4’

The follow up to 'Thor: Ragnarok' is on its way

Taika Waititi is making his return to Thor, as he is set to write and direct the follow-up to his 2017 hit, Thor: Ragnarok.

Because of the deal, Warner Bros.’ long-awaited adaptation of Japanese manga Akira is being put on pause, as the projects’ production dates were set to run at the same time. According to The Hollywood Reporter, sources have revealed that Warners is hoping to keep Waititi involved in Akira long-term, hoping to get him back on board after Thor 4.

Chris Hemsworth is also anticipated to reprise his role as Thor in the forthcoming flick.
