At the corner of Bloor and Clinton sits a teeny tiny no-frills Mexican restaurant. Order your tacos at the bar and wait to be served at their colourful picnic tables. When you leave, your tastebuds will be singing, your stomach will be full and your wallet won’t be empty. Win, win, win!
The Playa Cabana restaurant empire does Mexican food really, really well. But some of their best tacos at their Koreatown location. Here they serve up Korean-Mexican tacos like the braised short rib taco.

A mainstay of Kensington market, this sunny spot is the place to go for tacos al pastor and some of the best guac around.
This is where the party’s at. Loud music and great cocktails accompany some of the best tacos north of Queen Street. Stay for churros for a delicious dessert.
