Since it was launched this summer, MDE has collected a whopping 2,000 signatures for its declaration of a climate of ecological emergency. Originally they received backing from IDLES, Nadine Shah, and music companeys like AIM, Abbey Road Studios, and The BRIT School. Now, groups like The 1975, The xx, The BPI, The BRITs, Kobals Music Group, The Musicians’ Union, and Rough Trade Shops have joined in as well.
This Friday, September 20th, MDE will be hosting an organized Labels Strike For Climate in London, England’s Parliament Square.
