The 1975 frontman Matty Healy has confirmed that the release date for the band’s forthcoming album Notes on a Conditional Form has been pushed back.
The album, which was originally set for release on February 21st, is now set to drop on April 24th. Healy revealed the news on Instagram Live, saying “Sorry to fuck you about,” and explaining that The 1975 is just finishing the album now.

“It takes like three months or something to physically make a record on vinyl so it comes out on the 24th of April, I think,” Healy revealed. “Sorry if that’s annoying or whatever…For the sake of a couple of months, in the grand scheme of things [the delay] doesn’t really make any difference.”
Healy also went on to reveal that the band plans to release four more tracks leading up to the album’s release, including “Me and You Together Song,” which drops on Thursday, January 16th.
