The Aubreys have officially announced their debut LP Karaoke Alone and have shared the title track.
TV and film star Finn Wolfhard and his bandmate Malcolm Craig are readying the release of their very first album on November 5.
“Karaoke Alone” was written during quarantine but the duo eventually were able to get together in Chicago. Here they recorded the new single alongside Andrew Humphreys and Twin Peaks’ Cadien Lake James and Colin Croom.
“While recording we experimented with a lot of new and old sounds, but we went in with no expectations other than to have fun and make a wicked album,” Wolfhard and Craig said in a statement. “And we think we succeeded.”

The new song is the follow-up to The Aubreys’ 2020 EP from March, Soda & Pie. Earlier this year the band shared two prior singles including “No Offerings” featuring Lunar Vacation, and “Sand In My Bed”.
Prior to The Aubreys, Wolfhard and Craig were in a band together called Calpurnia. Speaking to NME last year, Wolfhard said that they are “a little telepathic” when it comes to music.
“We know each other really well so we know our quirks, how we play the drums and what can be expected of each other, so it’s hard to overstep when it comes to things like that,” he said.
