The recently announced “Classically Smiths” concerts that were set to tour across the United Kingdom have been cancelled.

Joel Perry, of production company Bad Production Ltd, said, “In response to recent comments in the press, the planned Classically Smiths events will now, no longer be taking place.” The “Classically Smiths” shows were going to have members Andy Rourke, Mike Joyce and Craig Gannon playing along with the Manchester Camerata Orchestra.

When the announcement first came out yesterday, Rourke put out a statement yesterday that he had zero involvement in these shows. This morning, Joyce then also wanted out of the shows after hearing Rourke’s words.
