The Darcys Unveil “Hymn For a Missing Girl”

The Darcys Debut Long Awaited 20 Minute Song

Since before their latest record Warring had even been released, The Darcys were teasing a possible 20 minute long song. They tweeted looking for name suggestions, then after after a few weeks the name was revealed: “Hymn For a Missing Girl”. The tune is inspired by Cormac McCarthy’s Cities of the Plain and was produced by band members Jason Couse and Wes Marskell. The song will be available as a limited edition LP this Saturday for Record Store Day.

The 20 minute long adventure takes all kinds of different turns, telling a different tale with each change in style and tempo. Do yourself a favour, clear up 20 minutes and give this a listen below:
