The Dirty Nil Announce New Album, Share Single ‘Bathed in Light’

Master Volume arrives September 14

Hamilton’s The Dirty Nil have unveiled plans to release their follow up to 2016’s Higher Power. Master Volume is due out on September 14 via Dine Alone.

The band rolled out a new single, “Bathed In Light,” via Billboard. Frontman Luke Bentham spoke about how the song was inspired by a death dream.

“On tour in England, I kept napping in the back seat of the sprinter,” Bentham told Billboard. “One dream, involving a fiery roundabout death, shocked me to consciousness and put me in jittery mood. I wrote down some nonsense on the back of a guitar string package and put a stomper of a riff to it at soundcheck.”
