The final trailer for ‘Halloween Kills’ teases Michael Myers’ unmasking

The final trailer for Halloween Kills is here.

In the new clip for David Gordon Green’s flick, there’s a pretty huge teaser. It looks like in this film, Michael Myers will finally be unmasked. The trailer shows Myers appearing on the playground with a bloody knife after being left to die in the last film. Halloween Kills is the sequel to 2018’s Halloween and serves as the 12th instalment in the franchise.

“I want to take his mask off and see the evil leave his eyes,” Jamie Lee Curtis says as Laurie Strode. The trailer then previews the removal of Myers’ legendary mask.

Both Halloween (2018) and Halloween Kills serve as direct successors to the original 1978 film.

Alongside Jamie Lee Curtis, Halloween Kills stars Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, Will Patton, Thomas Mann, and Anthony Michael Hall.

The forthcoming flick is out both on Peacock and in theatres on October 15th, 2021. It’s follow-up sequel, Halloween Ends, is out on October 14th, 2022.

Back in July, the first trailer for the film indicated that it picks up where Halloween left off. In the short trailer for Halloween Kills, Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) and her daughter and granddaughter can been seen fleeing the scene of the massive house fire at the end of the last film.

Strode is screaming for firefighters to “let it burn,” so to destroy infamous murderer Michael Myers. We’re gonna go out on a ledge here and predict that they did not, in fact, let it burn.
