The first trailer for the scripted ‘Tiger King’ drama series ‘Joe vs Carole’ is here

The first trailer for the new scripted Tiger King drama series, Joe vs Carole, is here.

The show is set to chronicle the rivalry between Carole Baskin and Joe ‘Exotic’ Schreibvogel. Joe vs Carole is a scripted adaptation of the podcast Joe Exotic: Tiger King. The series will star Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks) as Harold Baskin and Kate McKinnon (Saturday Night Live) as Carole Baskin. Joe Exotic is played by John Cameron Mitchell.

Opening with some tense strings as Baskin hangs a picture of Exotic, Kate McKinnon says, “This is who we’ve been after.” The tense clip teases, “The story you know…is only half the tale.” McKinnon truly channels Baskin in the clip. You can see the uncanny resemblance between her and the star of the Netflix docuseries as she declares, “It’s war.”

“If she wants to mess with me, I can mess with her,” Exotic says in the Joe vs Carole clip. “I got a message for Carole Baskin.”

The Peacock original series Joe vs Carole is out on March 3rd.

Back in November, Carole Baskin reportedly sued Netflix over footage of her from Tiger King 2.

According to Variety, Carole Baskin and her husband Harold filed a suit in their Tampa hometown on November 1st. The suit is against Netflix and the Tiger King production company, Royal Goode Productions.
