The Flaming Lips announce new live album with tracks from ‘The Soft Bulletin’

The album is set for release on November 29

The Flaming Lips have announced a new live album called The Soft Bulletin Recorded Live at Red Rocks with the Colorado Symphony Orchestra, which is set for release on November 29th.

The album is packed with songs from The Flaming Lips’ live performance of The Soft Bulletin in 2016 at Red Rocks. Since The Soft Bulletin was originally released in 1999, the new live record is a celebration of its 20th anniversary.
 


The original concert was produced by the Flaming Lips, Scott Booker, and Dave Fridmann, and it was recorded with the Colorado Sympohony Orchestra. The album, which will be released on a double vinyl album, a CD, and digitally, features a 68-piece orchestra and a 57-person choir.
