The Glorious Sons ditch everything they’re used to on their new single “I Will Destroy The Void In You.” The intimate track is striking and proves that the Kingston heavy-rockers aren’t just one-trick ponies.
Their fresh sound seemingly sheds 80s ballads, grunge and alt-rock inspiration. Lead singer Brett Emmons’ lower octave croons over dreamy twinkling keys, smooth electric riffs and soft wooden percussion.
While The Glorious Sons have their fair share of slow songs, here they manage to take a big leap musically and successfully stick the landing.

The two-time JUNO Award winning band are back following their 2019 album A War On Everything. Most recently, earlier this year they released two new tracks, “Young King” and “Daylight”. With all three songs sharing the same artwork we expect to see a new EP or LP sometime soon, though no specific details have arrived.
The Glorious Sons are nearly about to embark on ‘The Unfinished Business Tour’ that spans across North America. The tour begins in December this year and closes out in March 2022. They return to Toronto to headline Massey Hall for three shows on March 10th, 11th and 12th.
