Soon you can support Canada’s oldest zoo, located in the middle of High Park, by drinking a nice cold brew.
Next month, High Park Brewery will be launching their latest beer, which is inspired by Toronto’s beloved High Park Zoo. Brewery founder Ted Clark got the idea for the new beer after talking to the zoo about donating spent grain to feed livestock. As a result, they’ll be partnering with Friends of High Park Zoo (FHPZ) at a launch party at the brewery on December 8th.

The only thing we know about the new beverage so far is that it will be named after a grain-loving animal that lives at the High Park Zoo. Additionally, a portion of the sales from each beer will go to FHPZ, who raises funds to sustain and enhance the zoo.
