After months of teasers, Marvel has dropped the highly anticipated trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home. Not only is the trailer here, but it even previews a live-action Spider-Verse and the Sinister Six.
Today’s preview confirms the return of Hamie Foxx’s Electro and Rhys Ifans’ Lizard (Amazing Spider-Man). It also previews Thomas Haden Church’s Sandman, Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin, and Alfred Molina’s Doctor Octopus. If you look closely, you’ll see that we’re one villain short of the Sinister Six. It has yet to be revealed who the sixth member will be.
The No Way Home trailer begins where Far From Home ended. It opens when Tom Holland’s Peter Parker’s identity as Spider-Man is revealed to the world upon Mysterio’s death. Parker and Zendaya’s MJ lie on a roof in the aftermath of the news reveal. He then seeks out Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) to help reset everyone’s memory, but something goes wrong. Parker attempts to change Strange’s spell in the middle of casting, and he appears to break the timeline.

“We tampered with the stability of space-time,” Doctor Strange says in the trailer. “The multi-verse is a concept about which we know frighteningly little of. The problem is you trying to live two different lives. The longer you do it, the more dangerous it becomes.”
It’s yet-to-be-confirmed whether former live-action Spider-Man stars Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield will return to the screen for this movie. Nonetheless, viewers can spot at least three different versions of Spider-Man in the trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home.
No Way Home is out on December 17th.
