Woodstock co-founder Michael Lang decided to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the festival by staging an event in Watkins Glen, New York, and it’s just been leaked that he’s booked The Killers, Chance the Rapper, Imagine Dragons, Grateful Dead offshoot Dead and Company, and Santana, according to Billboard.
Although the lineup has not yet been revealed, a handful of participating acts were leaked by Billboard after they released a story about Woodstock’s financial difficulty. Allegedly, talent agents were expecting a February lineup announcement, but after a handful of artists didn’t get paid, concerns arose of the festival’s financial instability.

Eventually, Lang and financial backers Dentsu were able to work through the financial hurdles, and as of Monday, the festival’s artists have all been fully paid. According to the article, Lang expects upwards of 100,000 attendees at the event, and a proper lineup can be expected in the next two weeks. The anniversary celebration is set to feature over 80 acts from August 16th to 19th.
