The Killers release live film ‘Notes From A Quiet Town’

While gearing up for the release of the deluxe edition of Pressure Machine tomorrow (March 25th), The Killers have released a new live film, Notes From A Quiet Town.

The new live film/documentary is a 33-minute piece that follows The Killers as they visit frontman Brandon Flowers’ hometown, Nephi, Utah. Flowers lived in Nephi from age eight to 16. Notes From A Quiet Town boasts interviews with residents of Nephi alongside stripped-back performances of “Cody,” “Terrible Thing,” and “Quiet Town.”

It’s pretty fitting that The Killers visited Nephi for Notes From A Quiet Town, as Pressure Machine is a concept album all about Flowers’ coming of age there.

Watch Notes From A Quiet Town below.

The forthcoming expanded version of Pressure Machine will boast two new editions of album opener “West Hills,” four renditions of closing track “The Getting By,” and a reworking of The Killers’ Phoebe Bridgers collab “Runaway Horses.” On the new version of “Runaway Horses,” The Killers perform with a full band. The deluxe edition of Pressure Machine was co-produced by The Killers, Shawn Everett, and Foxygen’s Jonathan Rado.

Notes From A Quiet Town is a perfect accompaniment to that expanded edition.
