The six original Avengers took out a full page advert to pay tribute to Stan Lee

'We're grateful to represent a small part of your amazing legacy'

The six original Avengers took out an entire full page advertisement in the November 14th issue of The Hollywood Reporter magazine to pay tribute to Stan Lee after he passed away on Monday.

“We acknowledge his creative contribution, the thousands of men and women it has long employed, the millions that will continue to be entertained, and above all, his inimitable wit, grace, and humility,” the advert stated. “Stan, we love you, we will miss you, we’re grateful to represent a small part of your amazing legacy.”

Although Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey Jr, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, and Chris Hemsworth were the first Avengers, they were part of the ever-growing team that now includes Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, and The Guardians of The Galaxy team.

The tribute comes after Lee’s daughter confirmed that she was working on a superhero named Dirt Man with her father before his death.
