The TTC board announced that they’re working on an app that will allow users to discreetly take photos of riders who are behaving badly in order to increase safety on all lines of travel.
The app should be available later this year and comes after the news of 35 reported sexual assaults on TTC so far in 2016. Will the app help late-night riders feel safer alone? What constitutes bad behaviour for one, may not for others.

This is sure to stir up conflict from passengers who don’t want their photo taken without their permission. Take into consideration what this Redditor from Toronto had to say:
What do you think of the proposed idea? Let us know in the comments.
