Great news, Toronto! Not only will the GO Train and UP Express be free on New Year’s Eve, but the TTC will be, too.
Much like the past few years, the free transit will be sponsored by Corby Spirit and Wine. All subways, streetcars, and buses will be completely free from 7:00 p.m. on December 31st to 7:00 a.m. on January 1st.
Back for the 7th year, Corby Spirit and Wine is getting #Toronto home safe on New Year's Eve. Remember to celebrate responsibly this holiday season and enjoy free rides on the TTC this NYE 🎉✨🥂 #CorbySafeRides pic.twitter.com/43Zm3D1xkh

All lines will have regular Monday to Friday service during the day, and late night service will be extended by a couple of hours. Additionally, standby trains will be added on Line 1 and Line 2 at night.
The last Line 1 subways will leave Union Station at 3:30 a.m. and 3:34 a.m., and both of the final Line 2 trains will be leaving from Bloor-Yonge at 3:37 a.m. The final Line 3 train will depart from Kennedy Station at 4:05 a.m., and the final Line 4 train will depart from Sheppard-Yonge at 3:58 a.m. Good news for late night partiers, as there will be a few end-of-service buses available until 6:00 a.m. at Kennedy, Scarborough Centre, Pioneer Village, Finch, Sheppard West, and Kipling stations.
The initiative is to help cut down on drunk driving during the holidays, so make sure to stay safe, Toronto!
