West enders have been eagerly awaiting news on the southern extension of the West Toronto Railpath, and today that news has arrived.
It was announced today that the Railpath, which currently runs from Dupont to Dundas, will be extended down to King Street and eventually end southeast of the Dufferin Street Bridge.
Earlier this year the city released renderings of what the extension might look like, however, a design and timeline are still uncertain.
Despite the lack of a timeline, this concept will be received as very good news for west end commuters. According to CP24, the extension will snake around a brand new park being added just north of Queen and Dufferin.
