After rounding out his musical resume by soundtracking the horror flick Suspiria, Thom Yorke has announced that he’ll be highlighting another one of his skills with his first ever classical composition.
The piece, titled “Don’t Fear The Light,” was written for French piano pair Katia and Marielle Labèque, and it will feature both an electronic piano and a modular synthesizer. The iconic rock frontman will perform with the duo throughout April as part of Minimalist Dream House. In fact, acccording to the Labèque’s website, Yorke “will also perform a new song with the pianists to close the concert.”
