Thom Yorke teases forthcoming solo album with cryptic advertisements and phone number

He even teases a new track through a voice recording

Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke has teased the release of yet another solo album through the release of several cryptic advertisements that have popped up around the world.

Several advertisements for Anima Technologies have been spotted everywhere, from photo booths in Milan to pages of The Dallas Observer. Photos of the mysterious release show that the advertisement is promoting a “dream camera” that aims to capture our subconscious thoughts, and it comes accompanied by a phone number, which is 916-619-6192 in the United States or 07588733111 in the UK.

Fans who call the number will be brought to a pre-recorded message that says, “Anima Technologies has been ordered by the authorities to cease and desist from undertaking its advertised business,” as a new track from Yorke titled “Not the News” plays in the background.

You can also head to a website for Anima Technologies here, which has a similar message to the voice recording.
