Three new ‘Game of Thrones’ spinoffs are in the works

While a prequel and an animated take on Game of Thrones are already in the works, HBO has revealed that they’re working on three new spinoff series about the George R.R. Martin material, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

One of the shows, 9 Voyages, will be created by Bruno Heller of Rome and it will follow Lord Corlys Velaryon (Sea Snake). Played by Steve Toussaint, the character is also set to feature in the prequel series House of the Dragon.

The second show, 10,000 Ships will follow warrior queen Princess Nymeria, who founds the kingdom of Dorne. This show will take place years and years prior to the Game of Thrones series.

A third show, which has yet-to-be-named, will take in a low-class area of King’s Landing called Flea Bottom. This space boasts characters like Davos Seaworth and Genry Baratheon.
