Tim Hortons Foundation launches new Tims eCamp for 2020 Camp Day

Tim Hortons largest fundraiser for its Tim Hortons Foundation Camps, Camp Day, is set for August 12, 2020. It’s the one day each year when Tim Hortons Restaurant Owners donate 100 per cent of their hot coffee and iced coffee sales to the Tim Hortons Foundation Camps, which send local youth from disadvantaged circumstances to one of seven camps across North America.

For 2020, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, camps are going virtual. Over 6,000 campers who meet low-income cut-offs as outlined by Stats Can are eligible to participate in this new virtual experience. The foundation has worked to ensure each of there were no barriers in accessing the program before launching earlier this month. Donors are providing personal tablets and/or access to Wi-Fi or data to each and every participating camper who needs it.

Here’s how you can help!

In addition to proceeds from hot and iced coffee sales, customers have the option to donate $2 and receive a Camp Day bracelet available in four vibrant colors: red, blue, green and orange. Guests can also round up their order, with the balance of the dollar going towards the Tim Hortons® Foundation Camps. You can also make a one-time or monthly donation online any time at www.timscamps.com

In 2019, Camp Day raised more than $12.3 Million for the Tim Hortons® FoundationCamps.
