Mulligan will be a 20-episode comedy that will follow the aftermath of an alien attack that destroys the Earth, while exploring the remains of humanity’s attempt to start society over once again. Sam Means, who worked with Carlock and Fey on both Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and 30 Rock, co-created the series with them.
The comedy will be delivered by Universal Television, Fey’s Little Stranger, Bevel Gears, 3 Arts, and Bento Box Entertainment, which is behind Bob’s Burgers.
A release date for the series has yet to be revealed.
